What was the highlight of Beachcomber Island Resort
Don't forget the sunscreen and the mosquito repellent and you will enjoy the place
The weather, the water temperature and the view bungalow view. I would recommend bringing water shoes for beach, those coral stones would hurt your feet on the way to the sea.
The lack of maintenance of the facilities, simple things like putting some WD40 in the door keyhole would reduce the fight we had to open and close the door, repair the window screens would keep the mosquitos outside.

A little touch of paradise
Multiple types of accommodation options from dorms to beachfront bures. We had a lovely bure on the waters edge which was clean and close to everything. The staff were great but the food was average but you don’t go to Fiji for the food anyway
Often loud music playing all day, like it was a party island but it wasn’t really….it was a little odd. As I said earlier the food wasn’t magnificent but that wasn’t unexpected

What was the highlight of Beachcomber Island Resort
First time I’ve relaxed in over a year!
Stunning island, amazing location, friendly staff and great food (very well fed!). The hammock - hours spent looking up at the coconuts with the warm island breeze.
Shower wasn’t the best (a dribble at best), all water is still salty so you’ll need to buy drinking water/be okay with showering in salty water. Also snorkeling - took to one location only, combined the trip with day trippers who only wanted the “coral viewing and fish feeding”, so we’d often get called in sooner than most wanted. However - the secret is that the snorkelling is waaay better off the shore (go out from the volley ball net and swim to the right). Oh - and take your own flippers!
